CPL 2017: Patriots beat Knight Riders in First Qualifier

Sept. 6 (CRICKETNMORE) - St Kitts and Nevis Patriots comfortably beat Trinbago Knight Riders by 38 runs in the first Qualifier of Caribbean Premier League, 2017 at Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad.

Put into bat first, Patriots post respectible total of 149. Chris Gayle scored half century and remained the top scorer for the team. The home side was bowled out for 111 in the last over of the match.

With this win, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots enters the final of CPL 2017 while Knight Riders will take on the winner of Eliminator match in the second Qualifier on Thursday.
